We have the new download software installed and working, but it will take me a while to check all the pages where I put a download directly and move them to the download plugin. In the meantime, the pages have both posts and direct downloads. Please check them -DCox 12/26/2024

Note that I am doing away with Google Adsense. Some of my websites have 50,000 visits in a single day, and Google pays me 2 cents US for that day. So it is more a bother than any kind of help with our hosting expenses (more than a thousand dollars a year for all my websites) So please donate to help support this website.
People are the same everywhere No matter where you go, people have the same problems across cultures and places. This article is for pastors, from churchplantingworkshop.com, and explains how turnover in churches is to the preacher's advantage (and the pastor as counselor). I speak to the reuse of counseling and preaching material.

A carpenter making his own tools is an explanation of why I, Pastor-Missionary David Cox, write my own material. I like the idea of producing the material that we use in our ministry and also for evangelism.

Buy me Steak Taco! You know, I work hard at my websites trying to provide you with good material that is sound doctrinally-speaking and of interest to God's people. It is hard work, but I don't mind doing it, and I feel called to the ministry, and God will bless me after all is said and done. But in the meantime, I do need to cover my expenses. I have a total of 34 websites (half English and half Spanish), and each one costs about $10 per month to keep up. That does not take into consideration my time and effort in writing content. Won't you consider at least a one time donation to this ministry of $10 or $20 dollars? It would be really great if you could gift me and my wife this money so that we could enjoy eating out at least once in a while. (I pay the expenses for these sites out of our living expenses.) God will richly bless you and repay you for your generosity. 1 Timothy 5:18 For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. If you received some value from my websites, consider at lest a small donation. A big donation would really be nice, too though.

Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
There is an attitude within much of Christianity that sickness in any form is bad, and God does not have anything to do with it. For these Christans, they ask God to take the sickness away, and sometimes (as though it was their right to be health) that they demand God to remove their sickness. The reality of life is that they continue ill, and many have a crisis of faith over this. For them, God is impotent, or God does not love them. In other words, their confidence, faith, and love of God depends on God always sending them good things. But this is not how the Bible indicates life is. God uses calamity and sickness for His own purposes and we have to understand this (and accept it). Please support our tract ministry by donating on the tract website (see sidebar). Because of your donations we can offer these tracts online, and for free. Read the Tract CH34
This website is made and maintained by Pastor-Missionary David Cox. If you like what you see here, please consider a small donation every year. When you donate, it all goes to paying for hosting and domain fees.
